Tuesdays "Brown Bag" Seminar

On the 16th January I sat in on ProDiverse's stimulating "Brown Bag" seminar in a gridlocked Finchley Training centre. Incidentally the name brown bag is derived from the US meaning a casual and informal meeting with sandwiches [in the Brown Bag] as opposed to a business lunch!

Anyway back to the Seminar which was ably conducted by Nick Hinchliffe.

The purpose was to challenge mind sets and conditioned responses. Indeed Nick brought up the subject of Pavlov's Dog, about conditioned response.

The main target was to challenge the preconceived ideas that we all fall into over the years. Especially in the work place and company "politics". The Seminar was there to both allow the recipient to see through the "politics" and identify the "players" and their roles. It also explored our fears [often irrational] that have been "cultivated by others in the work place.

Well worth attending just to strip away our self consciousness and get to the route of problems and to identify your own strengths to capitalise on them.
